Dan Corsi is a first-generation college graduate from Aliquippa, PA who earned a B.S. in Business Management from Grove City College and began working for Dietrich Metal Framing in McDonough, GA. After a few years he decided to pursue his passion for helping others by working as a classroom middle school teacher while earning his Master’s degree from the University of South Florida. Dan began his career in higher education serving as Assistant Professor of Education at Erskine College, a private four year liberal arts college in South Carolina. Later, he was appointed as the Administrative Dean of the College and served as the interim Vice President for Academic Affairs. During this time, Dan completed a post-baccalaureate program in education at Fort Hays State University and his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. His next professional endeavor positioned him as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs / Chief Academic Officer at Louisiana Delta Community College in Monroe, LA. Dan arrived as the institution was being placed on probation by their regional accreditor (SACSCOC). Here Dan and his team put the College back in good academic standing in less than one year. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director for a state sponsored early college charter school located in Las Vegas, NV. Dan possesses a unique and diverse professional skillset with nearly 20 years of career experience in public and private K-12 and post-secondary education, including valuable time spent working outside of education. Dan is now committed to taking his problem solving expertise and sharing it with other institutions to develop meaningful partnerships that will enhance and improve their ability to serve students, employees, and the community.
